ORDER
The petitioner submitted representations dated 04.04.2018 and 31.07.2018 seeking patta for the land in S.No.782/9 to an extent of 3.64.5 hectares and has filed this writ petition.
2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks a short accommodation to ascertain the present status. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the land in S.No.782/9 of Sirumalai village is declared as government land and as per the existing government orders patta cannot be granted.
4.In reply to the same, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have granted patta to the adjacent land owners. However, they are discriminating this petitioner alone. 2/5
5.In view of the above submission of the learned Special Government Pleader, the prayer sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted. Further, since the petitioner alleges that adjacent land owners have been granted patta and this petitioner alone is discriminated, the respondents shall ascertain whether the said pattas are issued against the government orders and if so, the respondent shall take necessary action and restore it to its original position.
6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
