The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to include the petitioner's name in Patta No.1139 and 1147 for the Sy.No.504/2, Sy.No.503/2B in Meelavittan Revenue Village, Thoothukudi District on the basis of petitioner's application for patta transfer vide Can.No.0332 8012 13953 and application No.2018/0103/28/116622 dated 19.07.2018 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.M.Maria Vinola, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents.

The petitioner in respect of the land at Sy.No.504/2 and Sy.No.503/2B at Meelavittan Revenue Village, Thoothukudi District had given an application in application No.2018/0103/28/116622 dated 19.07.2018 to the fourth respondent office and the said application is still pending without being considered. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court with the aforesaid prayer.
4. Heard Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate who would submit that the said application if not decided already by the respondent, the same would be decided and final orders will be passed by the fourth respondent within a time frame stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the above said submission made on both sides, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition and pass the following order:
"that the fourth respondent herein is directed to consider the application dated 19.07.2018 and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs."
