PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the Learned Judicial Magistrate Court - III, Thanjavur to conclude the trial in C.C. No.184 of 2012 in connection with Crime No.50 of 2012 in accordance with law within the time that may be stipulated by this Court. O RDER This petition is filed seeking direction to the Judicial Magistrate Court - III, Thanjavur to conclude the trial in C.C. No.184 of 2012 in connection with Crime No.50 of 2012 in accordance with law. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of 11 years, trial could not be completed. Because of the pendency of the trial for a long time, the petitioner is seriously prejudiced.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that trial is commenced and it is posted for examination of witnesses on 19.10.2023. 4.Considering the oldness of the crime, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate Court - III, Thanjavur to expedite trial process in C.C.No.184 of 2012 pending on his file and dispose of the same within a period of Five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
