Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned tender notification vide Tender Notice passed by the respondents 1 and 3 published in the daily news paper on 31-10-2019 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 3 to consider the request of petitioner and members of 4th Respondent to grant lease on priority basis. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthaiah, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2.Challenge in this writ petition is a tender notification, issued by the first respondent, dated 31-10-2019, for the tender scheduled to be held on 14.11.2019.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, as per G.O.Ms.No.332, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department dated 17.11.1993, Co-operative Societies or Harijans shall be given https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4.In view of the above, a direction is given to the respondents to give preference to the Co-operative Societies and Harijans, if they are otherwise eligible and willing to pay the competitive bid amount in respect of the bid, as per G.O.Ms.No.332, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department dated 17.11.1993.
