ORDER

The petitioner has submitted an application dated 13.06.2023 to the respondents requesting them to issue patta in respect of the property situated in S.No.220/8 of Soorakundu Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District. Since the said application has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

2. Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, on instructions, submits that based on the petitioner's application, enquiry has already been conducted and the survey officials are intending to conduct survey on 27.09.2023 and thereafter, a decision would be taken within a reasonable time.

3. Considering the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conclude the proceedings and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 13.06.2023, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
