2.This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to disburse the interest for the belated payment of DCRG and other retirement benefits at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of completion of 6 months from the date of the petitioner's retirement and disburse the same to the petitioner.

3.The petitioner had submitted a representation on 02.10.2024, seeking for grant of interest for the belated payment of DCRG and other 2/5

retirement benefits, which is also reflected in the communication dated 10.07.2025 sent by the second respondent to the third respondent. 4.Hence, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 02.10.2024 within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
