ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to change and appointing any other suitable investigation officer not below the rank of the Deputy Superintendent of Police and file a final report in Crime No.11 of 2018 on the file of the sixth respondent herein within stipulated time.
2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the respondent police completed the investigation in Crime No.11 of 2018 and filed a final report before the Thasildhar, Thirupathur. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner by way of reply has submitted that the petitioner has not received any information with regard to the final report his complaint. 4.This Court in several orders directed that final report in the cases registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C has to be filed before the concerned Judicial Magistrate. The respondent police have not done so.
5.The respondent police is directed to file a final report before the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate after serving a copy of the Referred Charge Sheet notice on the petitioner. On receipt of such notice, the petitioner is entitled to proceed in accordance with law.
