JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) The issue involved in this appeal is that the respondent / writ petitioner, whose actual name is P.Balamurugan, also called as P.Murugan, was issued with an allotment order in respect of Flower Shop No.K292, in the name of P.Murugan. Claiming that the allottee's name and petitioner's name are two different persons, the writ petition came to be filed. 2.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the appellants, on instructions, submitted that pursuant to the order passed in the writ petition, the appellants have conducted an enquiry on 10.10.2024, and have confirmed that P.Murugan and P.Balamurugan are one and the same person and that there is no rival claim against the Flower Shop No.K292. 3.

To that effect, an affidavit dated 17.12.2024, has also been filed by the Deputy Director of Agriculture, Madurai, which confirms that the petitioner P.Balamurugan is now doing business at the Flower Shop No.K292, in the Paddy Commercial Complex, Mattuthavani, Madurai. Page No.2 of 4

4.

Since the grievance of the respondent stands redressed and the appellants have also ascertained the allottees name, no further orders are required to the grounds raised in the writ appeal. 5.

Accordingly, the Writ Appeal stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. (M.S.R, J.) (A.D.M.C, J.) Index : Yes / No 18.12.2024 : Yes / No bala To 1 THE PRINCIPAL SECRETARY/COMMISSIONER, SALES AND AGRICULTURE COMMERCE DEPARTMENT, CHENNAI.
