O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No.1 and 2 herein to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her family members in view of the life threat made by the respondents 3 and 4 based on the petitioners complaint dated 31.10.2019 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner lodged complaint seeking police protection at the hands of the respondents 3 and 4 and it is pending on the file of the second respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that already the husband of the petitioner lodged complaint for the very same relief and the same was enquired and closed as civil in nature. Again for the same relief, this petition is filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 31.10.2019 after giving opportunity of hearing to the respondents 3 and 4 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
