ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent herein to transfer the investigation in Crime No.11 of 2022 from the file of the 1/4

second respondent to any other investigating officer for free and fair investigation in the light of the petitioner's representation, dated 28.10.2022. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the defacto complainant and he made a complaint before the second respondent and the same was taken on file in Crime No.11 of 2022 for the offence punishable under Sections 417, 420 and 506(i) of IPC. However, till date, the second respondent police have not conducted the investigation in a proper manner. Hence, this Court may issue a direction to the first respondent to transfer the investigation to any other investigating officer based on the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2022, within a reasonable time fixed by this Court.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submits that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents police to complete the investigation within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court. 4.In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.11 of 2022 and file a charge sheet before the concerned Court, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The investigation shall be monitored by the concerned Assistant Commissioner of Police.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
