PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to open Muhaaramba Theertham situated adjacent to Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Thirukovil, Tiruchendur, for enabling the devotees to make use of the same in the light of the communication made by the first respondent dated 29.05.2023 and on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2021 as expeditiously as possible within a time stipulated by this Court. [Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.] Mr.Muthu Geethaiyan, learned counsel, takes notice for the respondents.

2. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

3. This writ petition is filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to open Muhaaramba Theertham situated adjacent to Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Thirukovil, Tiruchendur, enabling the devotees to make use of the same in the light of the communication made by the first respondent dated 29.05.2023 and on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2021, as expeditiously as possible. 4.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, states that renovation work of the Theertham had already been commenced and it is going to be completed within a period of few months. However, though the renovation work will be completed within a period of few months, the same will be put to operation only after the major work being carried on around the place is completed.

5. The above submission of the learned counsel for the respondents is recorded.

6. This Court finds that in view of the above submissions of the learned counsel for the respondents, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition.
