ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 1/4

528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in the case in Crime No.12 of 2023 dated 19.04.2023 and file a final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. It is seen from the records that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.12 of 2023 on 19.04.2023 for the offences under Sections 448, 294(b) and 506(2) IPC against three persons.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent, after completing the investigation, has filed the final report as 'Mistake of Fact' before the jurisdictional Court on 13.08.2024 and that RCS notice was served on the petitioner/defacto complainant through registered post and he has also produced the copy of the final report.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition, if so 2/4

advised.
