ORDER

This Petition has been filed by the first accused seeking direction against the respondent to complete the enquiry in Crime No.217 of 2015 and file the final report before the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate concerned within the time to be stipulated by this Court. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the Respondent/Investigation Officer submitted that the case is of the year 2015. The Investigation Officer had filed a negative final report before the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate. Sivagiri and notice was also issued to the third Respondent /defacto complainant. The defacto complainant filed a protest petition, based on which enquiry is still pending. So far statement of 17 witnesses had been recorded and the investigation is pending at the stage of comparing documents.

Hence, the Investigation Officer seeks further period of three months to complete the investigation. 3.The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is recorded. The Investigation Officer is directed to expedite the process of investigation and file the final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as undertaken by him/her.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
