O R D E R

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a Lecturer working in the Electronic Communication Engineering Department, Government Polytechnic College at Srirangam, seeking to quash the order of suspension, dated 18.08.2023.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, there was a quarrel with a lady passenger in the train with regard to seating arrangements and because of the said quarrel a false criminal complaint has been lodged against him and therefore, he has been unnecessarily implicated in the said case. He further points out that he is placed under suspension for more than one year and the order of suspension has not been reviewed as contemplated under G.O.(Ms) No.81, Human Resources Management (N) Department, dated 04.08.2022.

3. In view of the above said submissions, the respondent herein is directed to review the order of suspension of the writ petitioner in the light of G.O.(Ms) No.81, Human Resources Management (N) Department, dated 2/4

04.08.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions stand closed.
