ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to issue a patta in his name in respect of the property situated in Survey No, 6/1, Mandapam Revenue Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering the petitioner's online application dated 20.08.2025.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.B.Mahendrarajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, he purchased the subject property under a sale deed dated 11.04.2016 from one Maruthupandian. The patta for the subject property stands in the name of the Maruthupandian's

predecessor in interest, namely, Kannan. The petitioner submitted an application on 20.08.2025 seeking mutation of revenue records in his name. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 20.08.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, his vendor, Maruthupandian, the above mentioned Kannan and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 29.08.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No
