ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(i), 4(1)(a) and 4(1-A) TNP Act in Crime No.136 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 02.06.2023 at about 13.45 hours, when the respondent Police along with the police officials were in their routine duty, they found that the petitioner and others holding a white cane and giving a brown colour liquid to an unknown person and in turn received money for that from the said person. They arrested the accused and seized the liqours. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and is no way connected with the alleged offences. The earlier anticipatory bail application filed by this petitioner was also dismissed on 30.06.2023.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that five previous cases are pending against the petitioner. 2/3

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and also considering that five previous cases are pending against the petitioner and there is no change of circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
