ORDER

The petitioner, with a grievance that his application for transfer of patta has not been considered by the respondent for the past eight 1/4

months, has filed this writ petition.

2. Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent, on instructions, submits that the respondent has to conduct an enquiry before taking a decision on the petitioner's application.

3. Considering the fact that the petitioner's application has not been considered for the past eight months, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to conclude the enquiry proceedings and pass orders on the petitioner's application, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
