This writ petitioner filed this Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 14.09.2023 within time frame as fixed by this Honble Court.

2. Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.

3.Heard both sides.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a complaint was given by the petitioner stating that he was assaulted by the respondent over which CSR No.607 of 2023, was registered. Against which counter parties have been summoned and statements were recorded. So far as this petitioner is concerned, no summon has been issued.

5. Let the complaint of the petitioner be enquired on its own merits within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With this liberty and direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
