PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2024 and to conduct an enquiry for cancellation of patta stands in the name of the 3rd to 5th respondents herein after affording an opportunity to all the parties interested and to issue patta in petitioner's favour within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a mandamus to the official respondents to consider her representation dated 06.08.2024. 2.The case of the petitioner is that she is the owner of plot No.37 in S.No.152/2C of Tirumalai Samuthiram. According to the petitioner, this property was purchased by her by way of a registered sale deed from one Vanitha in document No.4829 of 2016, dated 01.09.2016. The petitioner's vendor Vanitha had purchased this property from one Muthammal through her power agent Chinnaiyah in document No.3787 of 2009 on 30.06.2009. 3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that after the purchase of the property from Vanitha, the petitioner has applied for transfer of the patta standing in her vendor's name to her name. However, the application of this petitioner was referred by the 1st respondent for enquiry to the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar on 27.09.2021. While so patta was wrongly 2/5
transferred in the names of respondents 3 to 5 and therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sri Rangam / 1st respondent and has filed this writ petition. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents submits that based on the representation of this petitioner, the 1st respondent has called for a report from the Tahsildar concerned and he has also submitted his report to the 1st respondent. 5.In view of the above submissions, the 1st respondent shall pass orders on the petitioner's representation within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law. Considering the above direction, the notice to the respondents 3 to 5 is dispensed with. No costs.
