O R D E R

Through the impugned order dated 20.09.2018, the petitioner was transferred from Thiruvithakodu Government Higher Secondary School, Kanniyakumari District to Government Higher Secondary School, Sivanallur. The writ petition came up for admission on 12.10.2018 and no interim orders were passed and the matter has been adjourned time and again at the request of the petitioner as well as the respondent counsel.

2. Today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that though two years have passed and the petitioner has already been relieved from the post on 01.10.2018 and she is yet to join the transferred post.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has no instructions from his client. Since the petitioner has already been relieved from the transferred place and two years have lapsed, it would not be appropriate to interfere with the transfer, particularly when the petitioner herself is not interested in prosecuting the case. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
