ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to call for the records pertaining to the impugned final report made in C.C.No.537 of 2019 pending on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Tirunelveli and quash the same.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 10.01.2022, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the second respondent/de-facto complainant has turned hostile and at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL.OP(MD)No.17857 of 2019 that time, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought time for getting instructions.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) would submit that the trial Court has examined 12 witnesses and now the case stands posted for pronouncing judgment on 04.02.2022. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the submission of the learned Government Advocate may be recorded. Since the Additional Mahila Court, Tirunelveli, after completing the trial has adjourned the matter for judgment, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

4. Recording the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
