The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a Panchayat Secretary seeking a Mandamus to dispose of the appeal pending before the first respondent.
2. The petitioner was dismissed from service, by the order of the third respondent dated 19.12.2023. The petitioner has preferred an appeal to the 2/5
first respondent on 19.01.2024. However, so far the appeal has not been disposed of. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 3 to 6.
4. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to consider the appeal filed by the writ petitioner and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the writ petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
