PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation on 09.03.2021 and 14.11.2022, consequently direct the respondents to provide Personal Security Officer (PSO) with weapon to the petitioners life and limb at the cost of the petitioner within a time stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation on 09.03.2021 and 14.11.2022, consequently direct the respondents to provide Personal Security Officer (PSO) with weapon to the petitioners life and limb at the cost of the petitioner within a time stipulated by this Court.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the representations of the petitioner dated 09.03.2021 and 14.11.2022 have 2/4

been considered by the sixth respondent herein. During the course of enquiry, the petitioner was summoned and intelligence report has been received.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that intelligence report has been received as stated above and forwarded to the first respondent herein who in turn forwarded the same to the fourth respondent for consideration.

4. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representations on its own merits by summoning the petitioner and also taking into account the intelligence report and dispose of the same within a period of 15 days from the date of appearance of the petitioner.
