ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to delete the names of the deceased Thaveethu and Joseph Lazar from Natham Patta No.526 relating to the property situated in Old Survey No.682/1 and New Survey No.682/44, Malaiyan Kulam Village, Tiruvengadam Taluk, Tenkasi District and issue patta solely in the name of the petitioner by considering his representation dated 18.08.2025.

2. It is the admitted case of the petitioner that the subject property originally belonged to his grandfather, Raja Mani. The patta for the subject property stands in the name of seven persons including the petitioner. Thaveethu and Joseph Lazar mentioned in the writ prayer are the petitioner's paternal uncles. In the representation, the petitioner had stated that the subject property was allotted to his father in the oral partition between the petitioner's father and his brothers. Therefore, the petitioner seeks deletion of names of his paternal uncles from the patta of the subject property and issuance of patta in his name.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the legal heirs of the above mentioned persons have already executed a consent deed and the same is also submitted before the respondents.

4. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.08.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the legal heirs of the deceased Thaveethu and Joseph Lazar and other pattadars mentioned in Patta No.526, within a period of twelve

(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
