2. The present Writ Petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to provide with permanent suitable alternative employment to the petitioner in accordance with his medical Condition and to refer him to the medical board for determining his fitness and suitability for light duty with pay protection, continuity of service, back wages and all other attendant benefits in accordance with Sec 47 (1) of the persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995.

3. Considering the fact that the representation of the petitioner dated 08.07.2025, seeking to refer to the medical board for the medical condition that he had suffered is still pending before the respondent, this 2/4

Court without entering into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.07.2025 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order .
