ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 herein to conduct survey in respect of the property situated in Survey No.326/5, Nagaratharkurichi Revenue Village, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering his application dated 23.06.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.C.Senthil Murugan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the third respondent. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 4 to 12, notice to them is dispensed with. 3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4.According to the petitioner, the subject property is his ancestral property and the patta for the same stands in the name of his father,
Vellaiyan, in Patta No.1005. The petitioner submitted an application on 23.06.2025 in Application No.2025/0123/27/006380, seeking survey of the subject property. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that when the official respondents attempted to survey the property as per the application submitted by the petitioner, one Jothiraj and four other persons objected to the survey. Therefore, they have been directed to submit necessary documents for conducting an enquiry.
6.In view of the statement made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, is inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 23.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, private respondents 4 to 12, objectors, who submitted objection before
