ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent 1 and 2 to conduct the survey of properties situated in Survey Nos.416/1 and 416/6, E.Malampatty Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's online application dated 06.05.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.N.Mohamed Ayyadurai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the petitioner, the subject properties in Survey Nos. 416/1 and 416/6 were purchased by his father, Subramanian, under a registered sale deed dated 16.04.2018. The pattas for the subject properties stand in the name of the petitioner's father in Patta Nos.2289 and 3376. The petitioner's father died on 29.07.2024 leaving behind the petitioner, his mother and his sisters as his legal heirs. He submitted an application on 06.05.2025 in Application No.2025/0123/24/015167 seeking survey of the properties. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 06.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, other
legal heirs of deceased, Subramanian, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
