P RAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take necessary action to Erect Full Brass Statue of (Karma Veerar Kamarajar) Kamarajar Statue at the land comprised in S.No.331B/1B3 through a Registered gift settlement deed No.1764/2024 dated 13.06.2024 in Patta No.431 based on petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2024. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to take necessary action to erect full brass Statue of (Karma Veerar Kamarajar) Kamarajar Statue at the land comprised in S.No. 331B/1B3 through a Registered gift settlement deed No.1764/2024 dated 13.06.2024 in Patta No.431, based on petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

The learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submitted that already the request made by the petitioner was considered by the third respondent and recommended to erect full brass Statue of (Karma Veerar Kamarajar) Kamarajar Statue in the petitioner's patta land to the second respondent, on 14.09.2024.

4. In the light of the recommendation dated 14.09.2024, the second respondent is directed to pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking direction to to erect full brass Statue of (Karma Veerar Kamarajar) Kamarajar Statue at the land comprised in S.No. 331B/1B3 through a Registered gift settlement deed No.1764/2024 dated 13.06.2024 in Patta No.431, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
