PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.482 of BNSS Act. PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 10 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 498(A), 294(b) and 506(2) of IPC, in Crime No.10 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. This anticipatory bail petition was filed by the husband, the father-in-law and mother-in-law of the defacto complainant. This Court was inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the father-in-law and mother-in-law by an order dated 04.10.2024. Insofar as the 1st petitioner (A1), who is the husband, this Court had referred the matter to the Mediation Centre.

3. A report has been received from the mediation centre to the effect that there was no settlement between the parties.

4. Heard the learned on either side and perused the material records of the case.

5. Considering the nature of the allegations that has been made against the first petitioner by the defacto complainant, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the 1st petitioner (A1) and accordingly this petition stands dismissed insofar as the 1st petitioner is concerned.
