ORDER

This Contempt Petition is filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnors for their deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in WP(MD)No.17982 of 2023 dated 26.07.2023. 2.The facts in brief is that, the petitioner is running service as poojari in Arulmigu Vandikaruppana Swamy Temple, Thangammapatti, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District. He filed W.P.(MD)No.25758 of 2022. Later, he filed a writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.17982 of 2023, wherein a direction was issued to the respondent to dispose the representation made by him within a period of two weeks. On the basis of the direction issued by the Joint Commissioner, in the writ petition, after passing of the above said order, he approached the second respondent herein. But no proper action was taken in pursuance of the order. So this petition has been filed seeking punishment for the respondent for having wilfully disobeyed the order passed by this Court.

3. Let the final order dated 25.08.2023, be produced to the respondent, so that they can take into account, the order passed by the Joint Commissioner, Madurai. A fresh representation be made by the 2/4

petitioner before the second respondent based upon the final order. The second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry by summoning the petitioner and the counter parties and take action. Contempt proceedings will not lie at this stage.

4. With this observation, this Contempt Petition is dismissed. 13.12.2023 NCC :
