ORDER
The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 and 4 to record his community as 'Hindu Kongu Vellalar' in his college certificates, based on his representation, dated 24.08.2022.
2. According to the petitioner, he belongs to Hindu Kongu Vellalar Community and he has also obtained a community certificate, dated 17.11.2019, from the first respondent. It is the submission of the petitioner that in his college certificates, his community has been mentioned as 'Hindu Thulluva Vellalar' and therefore, he has approached this Court by way of filing the present Writ Petition for the aforesaid relief.
3. In the community certificate issued by the first respondent, dated 17.11.2019, the petitioner's community has been mentioned as 'Hindu Kongu Vellalar'. However, in his college certificates, his community name has been wrongly mentioned as 'Hindu Thulluva Vellalar'. Therefore, respondents 3 and 4 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 2/4
24.08.2022, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
