The petitioner is an octogenarian who has given a complaint under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 before the first respondent and filed this writ petition for a mandamus directing the first respondent to consider his representation dated 16.03.2023 within a stipulated time.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that the notice for enquiry has already been issued and it would be considered after hearing the un-official respondents.
3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader and also considering the fact that the Act prescribes a time limit of 90 days and the petitioner is an octogenarian, this Court directs the first respondent to conclude the proceedings as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
