O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to pay the pending amount of Rs.2,13,600/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Thirteen Thousand and Six Hundred only) along with interest of 18% per annum for delayed payment, calculated from the date of invoice to the petitioner's society for supply of purchase reflective jackets, hand gloves, surface cleaner and face mask by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2025 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.I.Velpradeep, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.Hemakarthikeyan, learned counsel, who takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, the petitioner's society i.e., Tamil Nadu Multipurpose Indico Serve, Tamil Nadu Multipurpose Service Industrial Cooperative Society Ltd., is the registered society under the Tamil nadu Co-

operative Societies Act, 1983 and running from 07.02.2013 throughout Tamil Nadu. They are catering to all the official needs of the Tamil Nadu State Government and also running a Direct Recruitment Co-operative Society Service without quotation and contract, as per the guidelines given by the Tamil nadu Government Ordinance No.330, Industrial dated 03.05.1991. It is the contention of the petitioner that the respondent approached the petitioner and purchased the materials as it was urgently needed. The petitioner society has also supplied the materials. As per invoice, the respondent has to pay a sum of Rs.2,13,600/- to the petitioner for supply of materials. But the respondent did not pay the said amount till date. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent on 07.04.2025. But the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2025 would be considered and order would be passed in accordance with law, within one month.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.04.2025 and pass order on its own merits, within one month from the date receipt of a copy of this order.
