ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the respondent police to file a final report 1/4

in Crime No.23 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, dated 20.04.2024 in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.23 of 2024 that they have examined six witnesses and that the investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks two months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in the counter case, the respondent police has already filed the final report before the jurisdictional Court.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.23 of 2024 before the 2/4

jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
