No.15044 of 2022:- Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed Under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to extend the time for a further period of six months to complete the investigation and to file a final report as per the directions given by this Honble High Court by its order dt.21.06.2022 made in Crl OP(MD) No.2054/2022 in Crl MP(MD) No.1517/2022.
Prayer in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2054 of 2022 :- Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the entire records relating to the FIR in Crime No.18 of 2019 dated 27.08.2019 registered by the 1st Respondent and quash the same.
ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. A. Thiruvadikumar, Additional Public Prosecutor for the Petitioners and of Mr. M. Ajmalkhan Senior Counsel For Mr. M. Ravi, Advocate for the respondents, this Court made the following order:

"This petition is filed seeking extension of time for six months to complete the process of investigation.
2. Mr.A.Thiruvadi kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the petitioners submitted that only on 19.10.2022, Executive Engineer was appointed to assess the value of the property, which are now under dispute and he has also produced CD file.
3. Perusal of CD file shows that the enquiry was undertaken in a proper manner.
4. The learned counsel for the respondents expressed their grievances that during the course of enquiry, no document has been handed over to the investigation officer and the petitioners did not make any enquiry into the aspect.
5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for petitioner submitted that during the course of enquiry, copy of the original documents have been received from the department of the respondents and that was also perused.
6. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant five(5) months time to complete the investigation and to file final report."
