ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the property situated in Old Survey No.9/1, New Survey No.161/32, at Rosalpet, Muhtal Nagar, Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.J.Mohamed Ibrahim, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, the subject property has been in possession and enjoyment of his family for the past four generations. The subject property is classified as natham land and the petitioner has put up a building thereon. By virtue of his long occupation of the subject

property, the petitioner submitted a representation before the official respondents on 02.08.2025, seeking issuance of patta in his name. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.08.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
