Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.04.2018 to permit the petitioner to erect an arch on a point in the Kulumaikadu Road, Villukuri Post, Kanyakumari District approved by the respondents in our costs within a time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.04.2018 to permit the petitioner to erect an arch on a point in the Kulumaikadu Road, Villukuri Post, Kanyakumari District approved by the respondents in our costs within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, he being the Village Headman of the Kulumaikadu Village, has decided to erect Iron Arch in the road leading to the temples, by name Arulmigu Sri Brahma Sakthi Amman, Arulmigu Sakthi Vinayagar, Arulmigu Sriman Narayanaswamy. Therefore, he has sent a representation dated 09.04.2018 to the first respondent. Since there is no response, he has sent another representation dated 01.10.2018 to permit him to erect an Arch. Since no effective efforts have been taken, he has approached this Court seeking aforesaid prayer.

W.P.(MD) No.20981 of 2018 3.This Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.04.2018, after affording opportunity to the petitioner as well as other persons, who are likely to be affected, within a period of 120 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
