The petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondents seeking permission and to provide police protection for conducting the Vinayagar statue procession scheduled to be held from 26.08.2025 to 28.08.2025. The request of the petitioner has been rejected by the 1st respondent, by order dated 21.08.2025. Challenging the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

2. Today, when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the scheduled dates for conducting the Vinayagar statue procession are from 26.08.2025 to 28.08.2025 and therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition.

4. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
