PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to remove the encroachment made by the Respondent Nos.4, 5 and 6 in the Public Pathway in Survey Nos.78/13B situating in Paravakottai Village, Arandhangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.08.2023 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] We have heard Mr.S.Vidhya Sagar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.T.Amjad Khan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.M.Mahaboob Athiff, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 4 to 6.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that a notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, was issued on 01.08.2023. He further submits that the authority would continue with the further proceedings.

In view of the said submission of the learned Government Advocate, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
