ORDER
Heard both sides.
2.The petitioner has given application for cancellation of patta that stands in the name of the fourth respondent. Since no action was taken thereon, this writ petition came to be filed. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the fourth respondent drew my attention to the proceedings dated 11.08.2025 issued by the Tahsildar, Uthamapalayam. The petitioner is figuring as the second respondent therein. The Tahsldar made it clear that the encroachments in the petition mentioned land should be removed and possession handed over to the current trustee Rajkumar. It appears that the present writ proceedings is a counter blast to the said order passed by the Tahsildar. Admittedly, the petitioner is not seeking any relief for himself. It is well settled that 2/4
3 W.P.(MD)No.23826 of 2025 only a person aggrieved can approach the writ court. Admittedly, this writ petition has not been filed in the nature of a public interest litigation. I do not find any merit in this writ petition. It stands dismissed. No costs.
