ORDER

The petitioners herein seek a direction to the respondents to issue patta in their favour in respect of property situated in Survey No.441,

Periyammapatti Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering their representations dated 05.04.2025.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.N.Mohan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mrs.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioners, they have been in possession and enjoyment of the subject property by doing cultivation for several years. Based on their long possession, they submitted representations before the respondents on 05.04.2025, seeking issuance of patta in their names. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioners have come before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representations of the petitioners will be considered in accordance with law.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 05.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioners and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
