This Civil Revision Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the Rent Control Authority, Madurai, to number the 1/4

Regulation of Landlord and Tenants Original Petition filed on 05.08.2022.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed a petition under Section 13(1) of Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlord and Tenants Act, 2017, on 05.08.2022, but, the same has not been numbered so far, for the reasons that a Clerk, In-charge of Section, went on leave and the same is still pending without assigning any number. Therefore, the petitioner seeks a direction to the Rent Control Authority to number the said petition.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petition filed under Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlord and Tenants Act, 2017, on 05.08.2022, is still pending without assigning any number, this Court directs the Rent Control Authority, Madurai, to number the petition, if 2/4

it is in order.

4. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
