PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to grant patta in the petitioner's name for the property situated in Sakkilliankulam Village, Siruthur Group, Madurai North District comprised in UDR Survey No.51/3 measuring to a total extent of 8 cents by considering her representation dated 07.09.2023.

The petitioner has purchased a property in Survey No. 1/4

51/3, Sakkilliankulam Village, Siruthur Group, Madurai North District to an extent of 8 cents, by way of a Document No. 1895/2023, dated 27.03.2023, which was registered before the Chokkikulam Sub Registrar Office, Madurai. The petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondents on 07.09.2023 along with necessary documents and filed this writ petition for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta for the above property.

2.Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and issue patta as per the Circular No.12446/C1/2019, dated 08.02.2021, issued by the Registration Department for the purpose of automatic mutation of patta in case of non-involving sub division.
