PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai to expedite and complete the Trial in C.C.No.54 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai in connection with Crime No.743 of 2011 pending on the file of the respondent Police within stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai to expedite and complete the Trial in C.C.No.54 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai in connection with Crime No.743 of 2011 pending on the file of the respondent Police.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the case is under trial and some of the witnesses have been examined in this case.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be direction to the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai to complete the trial in C.C.No.54 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further the petitioner is directed to appear before the concerned court on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.16830 of 2019 all hearing dates without fail. If the petitioner fails to appear before the trial court on the hearing dates,the trial Court shall take action against the petitioner in accordance with law.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
