ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent Police not to interfere in a civil dispute based on his representation dated 23.08.2025.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the third respondent is interfering in a land dispute between the petitioner and his relatives, namely, the respondents 4 to 6.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the according to the complainant, the petitioner had sold a property, which jointly belonged to him and the private respondents. He would further submit that an enquiry would be conducted and a decision would be taken within a period of two (2) weeks from today.

4. Since an enquiry is pending, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. However, the petitioner cannot be called under the guise of enquiry repeatedly. Therefore, the respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry 2/4

within a period of two (2) weeks from today and inform the result of the enquiry to the petitioner and the complainant therein.

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
