Special Government Pleader COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to conduct a fresh election to the Valinokkam Muslim Jamath, by appointing a retired Judge or a designated Senior Advocate as an Election Officer to monitor the entire election process of the Valinokkam Muslim Jamath, within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader for the third respondent submits that a new scheme has been framed on 18.02.2019, which has also been Gazetted on 20.03.2019. An election will be held pursuant to the above scheme, which has been Gazetted on 20.03.2019.

3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the third respondent, these Writ Petitions are closed, by directing the respondents to conduct election in terms of the scheme, dated 18.02.2019, which has been Gazetted on 20.03.2019, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
