This Petition has been filed by the defacto complainant seeking direction against the Respondent/Investigation Officer to complete the enquiry in Crime No.99 of 2016 within the specified time and file the final report.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the Respondent/Investigation Officer submitted that the investigation on the complaint given by the Petitioner is in progress and the Investigation Officer seeks further period of three months to complete the investigation and file the final report.

3.The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is recorded. The Investigation Officer is directed to expedite the process of investigation and file the final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as undertaken by him/her.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
