ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders, to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation 1/4

and file the final report in connection with Crime No.104 of 2023, dated 15.09.2023 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.104 of 2023 and that the investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks two months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.104 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
