ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 294(b), 406, 420 and 506(ii) of I.P.C., in Crime No.Not known of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 1/3

2. The case of the prosecution is that one Selvendhiran was running RSV trading Private Limited and collected money from the defacto complainants on the guise of investing in trading and promised them, he will pay high rate of interest every month. He has collected money from various depositors by the false promise. The petitioner is the one who had introduced the complainant to the said Selvendhiran. When the depositors questioned the same about the non-payment of monthly interest, the accused persons prolonged the same by saying one or other reasons. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and is no way connected with alleged investments. The petitioner has also lodged a complaint against the said Selvendhiran and the same is still pending. The petitioner had appeared for enquiry and had produced all the relevant documents.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there is an allegation of group level marketing issue, over which, one K.Muruganantham lodged a complaint against the petitioner and another namely Selvendiran, which is stated to be pending.

5. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, let the above said complaint be enquired within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. During the course of enquiry, if any 2/3

trouble arises, the petitioner can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

6. With the above said direction and liberty, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
