This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the contemnor/respondent for his willful disobedience of the order dated 20.12.2023, passed in Crl.O.P. (MD) No. 21828 of 2023. Page No. 1 of 3

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation had been completed and the final report was filed in C.C.No.65 of 2025. Taking cognizance, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, posted the matter for today, i.e., 23.01.2025, and the case is to be transferred to the Special Court, namely, the III Additional District Court (for SC/ST Cases), Madurai.
